KATRINA BOROWIEC
Research and Statistical Analyst
Katrina Borowiec is a Research and Statistical Analyst at Mission and Data. Katrina conducts quantitative and qualitative analyses across a range of projects including survey, enrollment, demographic, market research, and institutional data.
Katrina completed her PhD in Measurement, Evaluation, Statistics, and Assessment at the Boston College Lynch School of Education and Human Development. Her interdisciplinary research interests center on understanding, evaluating, and measuring student learning, sense of belonging, community, and well-being of the whole person using quantitative, qualitative, and mixed methodologies. Her research has been published in a variety of peer-reviewed journals including AERA Open, Teachers College Record, and Quality of Life Research.
Before her doctoral studies, Katrina worked in institutional research at Mount Holyoke College, where she worked on various survey research, data warehouse, data management, and external data reporting projects. She also completed a Bachelor’s degree in English at Mount Holyoke College, a Graduate Certificate in Institutional Research from Florida State University, a Master’s Degree in Higher Education from Boston College, and a Master’s Degree in Survey Research from the University of Connecticut.
In her free time, Katrina loves spending time with her two dogs and going to the theater.
